An experienced businesswoman has launched an HR company covering Shropshire and the Black Country – with a pledge to offer the best-quality advice to both businesses and employees.
Ishbel Lapper has set up HR Solutions Shropshire to ensure companies of all sizes can benefit from high-standard professional advice even if they cannot sustain their own HR department.
And she says she is also making her two decades of expertise available to individual employees who often have nobody to turn to when confronted with issues at work.
Ishbel, from Telford, has worked in and run HR departments across a range of sectors over the last 20 years, but decided to set up her own company to offer her experience to as wide a market as possible.
“I am a strong believer that it doesn’t matter what size your company is – you still deserve the very best HR advice available. That is exactly what HR Solutions Shropshire will offer for companies of all sizes.
“We can work on site or remotely depending on a client’s needs and provide the sort of professional, flexible and friendly support which has been proven to get results.
“I also want to help individual employees because too often they are left feeling isolated and vulnerable by problems in the workplace. From CV Writing and interview techniques to serious disciplinary issues, we can help make a real difference.”
Ishbel has worked for some of the country’s best-known retail names with experience in the manufacturing, transport, automotive and social housing sectors. Her specialisms include all aspects of employment law and contracts as well as chairing investigations, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE and performance meetings.
Her professional qualifications include chartered membership of the CIPD as well as a degree and masters and her experience has taught her that every business is unique.
“Getting your people-management right is vital for any company. It cannot be a one-size-fits-all solution. I have seen and dealt with the full range of employment issues so am ideally placed to offer exactly the right solution at just the right price.”
