Preparations in full flow for show

Team members from Salop Leisure and Love Plants are eagerly preparing for their upcoming exhibit at the Shrewsbury Flower Show this weekend (August 9 and 10).

They will be sharing a combined stand located near the bandstand in the Quarry Park in Shrewsbury.

Salop Leisure will highlight the staycation opportunities available through touring caravans, motorhomes, and holiday homes. A selection of the latest models will be on display, with sales executives on-site to answer all visitor questions.

Ed Glover, marketing manager at Salop Leisure, said: "Being seen to support these events is always good for the company. It's important to put our products in front of new audiences, who might one day become owners of a touring caravan, motorhome, or holiday home."

Love Plants, renowned for its horticultural advisors, high-quality plant selection, and convenient delivery service, has been meticulously preparing for this year’s Flower Show.

Manager Tom Pountney (who last year created the award-winning "Best Garden in Show" in the Dingle Marquee), said: "We are keen to make the Love Plants stand very visual this year. It will include tropical, cottage garden, and Mediterranean themes."

Love Plants will feature a specialist display of tree ferns and palm trees, a variety of herbaceous plants, and visitors to the stand will also be able to take advantage of the plant creche service, subject to limited availability, which allows customers to store their purchases while they explore the show. For larger items/orders, such as trees, local delivery can be arranged for the following week.
